Hi, I’m Ken Hudson.

I help OPO leaders earn back the trust of the transplant community and the donor family’s they serve by ending errors in the operating room during procurements…errors that could cost organs not being used to change a recipients life.

My Philosophy.

I believe that surgical teams can become exceptional in the OR if given the right support and feedback. That leads to fewer issues like mislabeled and mispackaged organs. Leadership may not know how to get there, and that’s where I step in. To help bridge that gap.

As an independent consultant, I partner directly with you to cut through the noise, to deliver sound advice on the strategy and motivators to shape a surgical team into an unstoppable error free force to be proud of.

Before launching Hudson Consulting, I spent 16 years in the trenches, first as a surgical coordinator for Lifesharing in San Diego, then as a flyout Transplant Recovery Specialist at the University of California San Diego.

Throughout my career, i’ve had the privilege of

You can usually find me on the sand playing volleyball or enjoying ALL the amazing food in my neighborhood. While it’s hard to keep some semblance of a work life balance I do my best to make up the difference.
